Shared Monthly Billing

Running a Roku channel requires storage. Roku keeps 20% of your earnings, and we also pay for monthly storage. Extra storage is currently $99/month, which we divide among our filmmakers.

The more members we have, the lower the cost becomes—eventually dropping to just a few cents each.
This shared approach keeps the channel running without one person carrying the burden.

Subscription-Based Revenue

Our channel is subscription-based for viewers, creating consistent income for filmmakers that we share fairly as a team.

Take Back Funds from Gatekeepers

As independent filmmakers, many of us have our own audiences. By uniting under one channel, we can pool those audiences and take back control of our revenue from big company gatekeepers.

Why Not Start Your Own Channel?

Too many individual channels saturate the platform and hurt discovery for everyone.
Like Amazon and Tubi, when oversaturation happens, platforms can restrict or stop accepting new filmmaker channels.
As a collective, we keep our work visible, valuable, and sustainable.

This Agreement is made and entered into as of [DATE] by and between Plunkett Productions ("Company") and [FILMMAKER NAME] ("Filmmaker").

1. Grant of License
1.1 Filmmaker agrees to make their film(s) ("Work") available for streaming on the Connect Channel.
1.2 Filmmaker retains all rights, including copyright, ownership, and distribution rights to their Work.
1.3 The Company is granted a non-exclusive license to stream the Work on the Connect Channel for the duration of this Agreement.

2. Compensation
2.1 The Company agrees to pay Filmmaker $0.06 (six cents) per unique view of the Work on the Connect Channel.
2.2 Payments will be calculated and disbursed monthly, no later than fifteen (15) days after the end of every two months.
2.3 The Company will provide a detailed report of viewership statistics alongside each payment.

3. Filmmaker Responsibilities
3.1 Filmmaker warrants that:
• They have obtained all necessary licenses for any music, images, or other third-party content included in the Work.
• They have secured agreements and releases from all actors and contributors featured in the Work.
3.2 The Work will not include any illegal content, including but not limited to child pornography, pornography of any kind, or content that exploits individuals.
3.3 The Work must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
3.4 Filmmaker agrees to include warnings for any graphic or violent content at the beginning of the Work or in its metadata description.

4. Liability and Indemnification
4.1 Filmmaker agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plunkett Productions, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of:
• Any alleged or actual infringement of intellectual property rights related to the Work.
• Any breach of the warranties or representations made in this Agreement.
• Any claims resulting from the content of the Work.
4.2 The Company is not responsible for any claims arising from the Filmmaker’s content or actions.
4.3 Plunkett Productions is not obligated to promote any Filmmaker's Work.

5. Term and Termination
5.1 This Agreement is effective as of the date signed by both Parties and will remain in effect until terminated.
5.2 Either Party may terminate this Agreement with thirty (30) days’ written notice.
5.3 Upon termination, the Company will remove the Work from the Connect Channel within thirty (30) days and disburse any outstanding payments due to the Filmmaker.
